Carr Astronautics is a small business specializing in geospatial engineering diversified across satellite and aircraft technology.

•       Our satellite activities are concentrated in the geostationary weather satellite sector.  Carr Astronautics’ footprint covers three of the world’s major geostationary weather satellite programs: the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) program in the U.S., the Meteosat program in Europe, and the Multi-functional Transport Satellite (MTSAT) in Japan.  Carr Astronautics is the world’s leader in Image Navigation and Registration (INR) technology that enables severe weather to be accurately located and stabilizes movie loops so that only clouds move while Earth stays still.

•       We are finding new and innovative ways of applying our satellite INR technology to airborne sensing through a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and a commercial venture with Falcon Scan LLC.
